Impact intelligence
for real-world decisions.
Independent research, evidence, and decision tools for environmental and social change.
Environmental and social decisions are made with fragmented data, opaque models, and tools that were never built for public scrutiny.
We combine structured data, applied research, statistical and machine-learning methods, policy and program context, and field insight from practitioners and partners.
We turn that evidence into practical decision support - reports, dashboards, maps, and collaborations partners can defend and use.
Combining data, research, and decision support into decision-ready insight.
We turn complex environmental, civic, and social data into work you can use - in the field, in policy rooms, and in program design - through reports, models, tools, and maps built for transparency.

Common questions about the lab.
Impact Intelligence Lab is an independent research and intelligence lab. We apply data, AI, and systems thinking to environmental and social challenges — building reports, maps, models, and decision tools that partners and the public can use.
We collaborate with governments, NGOs, foundations, research institutions, and communities working on climate, biodiversity, health, and social systems. Projects are shaped around real workflows and the people who need to act on the evidence.
Methods, assumptions, and data sources are documented so others can verify and build on the work. Where possible, outputs are published openly — reports link to data, tools link to methods, and programs connect to published research.
Reach out through our partner page to discuss a project, briefing, or ongoing collaboration. We scope work around clear questions, transparent methods, and outputs designed for the decisions you actually need to make.
Many insights, reports, and methods are published on this site and linked from our work. Some partner datasets and tools stay restricted when privacy, security, or licensing requires it — but the approach and assumptions are always documented.
